"A Full Fledged robust Medical Education Unit is established and is functioning at JGMM Medical College which is aimed to conduct various faculty development and training programs by holding Seminars/Workshops/Conferences/CME to train all the teaching faculty in newer teaching learning technologies in order to to impart proficient medical education to students and in turn the better patient care."

Medical Education Unit is well equipped with newer technology gadgets needed for conducting training programs and has a designated area as per the requirement which can accommodate 30 participants for any workshop to be conducted.

1."Medical Education Unit of JGMM Medical College under the ambit of UDEHP , KAHER Belagavi , conducted a workshop on" Teaching, Learning methodology and assessment in CBME on 5th and 6th of July 2023 " where 30 participants were trained for newer teaching, learning and assessment methodology as required for effective implementation of CBME curriculum."

2. "A workshop on Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) was organized and conducted by Medical Education Unit (MEU) JGMMMC at JGMM Medical College Hubballi between 12th to 14th December 2023. The event was successfully conducted under the Observer ship of NMC appointed coordinator Dr. Radhika Sherkane madam."

3. UDEHP WORKSHOP on “A Way towards Proficiency in Clinical Skills and Assessment” held on 11th of March 2024.

4. UDEHP WORKSHOP on “Moving Beyond Challenges in Execution of Electives” held on 08th of May 2024

5. UDEHP WORKSHOP on “Manuscript writing and publication in High Impact journals” held on 07th of August 2024

6. A workshop on Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) was organized and conducted by Medical Education Unit (MEU) JGMMMC at JGMM Medical College Hubballi between 27th Feb 2025 to 01st March 2025. The event was successfully conducted under the Observer ship of NMC appointed coordinator Dr. Dipti Kadeangadi Madam.
